Molly?!

Two days ago, little Molly was only hoping to become a beautiful Monarch. She spent all of yesterday in this position:

That's right, 24 hours in this upside down, curled position. Who ever thinks caterpillars aren't tough should try spending 20 minutes in this position! This is actually Ceasar, Kate McGlew's caterpillar.
This is Molly this morning, another step closer to Monarch:

The change was truly miraculous, and I wish I could have seen her form the chrysalis. However, this was already complete when I got up this morning. In the first photo, the black blob at the bottom of the container is her last molted "skin." Up close in the second photo, you can kind of see some yellow stripes. I can't be sure what those are from, since her skin is at the bottom...
Now, all I can hope is that the chrysalis isn't disturbed during the car ride home.
