What We Found at the Creek...

Damselfly searching at Augusta Creek lead Ebony and I to find not only those colorful fliers, but also some other inhabitants of the creek...

One of the first we saw was a frog, that stood on a floating tree trunk for most of the day (at least for approximately 5 hours straight!).  He was very determined to stay there, so much that we were able to get close enough to take this picture.

Later on, we also came across a crustacean, which was hiding underneath fallen tree trunks.

Something we learned about them is that these animals, is that other that the very exuberant damselflies, they don't really like to be seen. We noticed them because we were at a particular place for a very long time, but I doubt they were happy we did so!
